Intramurals 2013

I guess I enjoyed this year's intrams more than last years' because this year, I have already experienced being a player even if I only got to play for a very short time. So, this year's intrams has gotten more exciting than last year. The emcees for this year were Agnes and Paeng. They did a great job at being emcees. We started with the prayer and opening remarks then went on with the intrams. We started with the introduction of the candidates of Mr and Ms Physique. Then, each year level presented their mass dance. All performances were very well done. Then, the games started. Most games were allotted almost at the same time so I didn't get the chance to watch all the games and aside from that, I'm a volleyball player. They suddenly might need me. So I stayed aware of the time. When it was our time to compete, I got really nervous even if I wasn't part of the first six. Our team played very well against the 7th graders. Then, we watched a movie after the game because we had nothing else to do. After that, we watched a few more games like tug of war, badminton, basketball, sack race, etc. We cheered for our fellow players then went back to the room to rest our vocal chords. hehe. That day, we also had the campus duet wherein 2 representatives from each year level is chosen to compete in a singing contest. There were really good singers like ate Pam and ate Yannah. They sang their song very well. Then, we did almost nothing else that day.
            On the 2nd day of intrams, the championships for the games were held. We won almost all the first games and had to compete with the 4th years in the championships. In volleyball, our team had to compete with the 3rd years. I could say that they are really good. The won the 1st and 2nd set. We won the 3rd set so we still had to have a 4th set. Unfortunately, they won. But, being 2nd isn't so bad. We got 2nd in most of the games like tug of war, basketball, badminton boys, patintero, chess boys, etc. Though we have a lot of 2nd places, we also won a few games like table tennis, Chess girls, Shot put girls, Discuss throw girls, etc. After the games, I slept for a while in our room. In the end, we got 2nd place in the over-all rankings. 4th year got 1st, 3rd year got 3rd and 1st year got 4th place. It was a very fun and fair intrams for everybody. :))

Friendship

It was the first day of school. I am getting a bit nervous because, I'm a new student there. I fixed myself and ate breakfast. Suddenly, mom yelled. "Ann! The bus is here!" so I answered, "Yes mom! I'm coming!" So I hugged and kissed my mom goodbye. Even if I was already in highschool. There was a lot of commotion going on in the bus. Eventually, I picked the seat at the end of the bus and sat beside a girl wearing earphones. So, I didn't pay much attention to her, or anyone in the bus. As soon as we got to school, I immediately went down and went to the bulletin board where the school map is. 
                  Mary Grace High is a bit big, but I can manage. I eventually saw my room in the map, which is particularly Room 3-b. So I started heading toward that room. I was walking and looking around at the same time when, a girl, who looked like she was in a hurry, bumped into me. But, she was gone before I could even apologize. "Maybe she really needed to go somewhere." I thought to myself.
                 By the time I got to the room, everything was a really big mess. Pieces of paper and other stuff were everywhere, the chairs were not in their right places and people were chatting and talking really loudly. "What a class." I thought to myself. So, I went in and found a seat beside a girl. She was reading a book and had earphones on so I didn't mind her. Then, a few minutes later, our adviser came in. Like every other school, there are introductions on the first day. After introducing myself, I sat down. Then, my seatmate started whispering to me. "Hey, you were my seatmate in the bus right?" I suddenly looked at her. She WAS my seatmate. "Yeah. Ummm.. Sorry but, What's your name again?" I have a bad case with names. "Emily. Emily Rosefort." Oh.. Just like my mom's name. "Oh.. Nice meeting you again, Emily." I said, then smiled at her. She just smiled back. "Oh yeah, sorry for bumping you a while ago. I really had to get something from the chemistry lab that time." Oh, she was the person I bumped into a while ago. "It's fine. no harm done.", I said and smiled at her. 
               A few weeks later, Emily and I became bestfriends. You wouldn't see one without the other. One day, while I was walking by the basketball court, a ball suddenly hit me hard on the head. Before I lost consciousness, I saw a boy. Then, everything went black.
              I woke up in a white room. Everything was white. Then I saw a boy that was asleep beside the bed I slept on. I guess this is the guy who brought me here. Then, he twitched. So I pretended that I just woke up. "Oh, you're awake. How are you now?" He said while rubbing his eyes. "Fine, thank you." awkward. "Oh, I'm Mark. Mark Anderson." Oh, I've heard that name somewhere before. "Ann. Ann Graceman." He grinned. "Why are you grinning?" He's weird. "I know you. We're from the same class. 3-b?" Oh.. That's why his name was familiar. Then, my phone vibrated. It was from Emily. "Oh... Anyway, i have to go know. My friend is waiting for me." Emily might get mad if I kept her waiting.
                 A few days later, I introduced Emily to Mark because Mark was so Persistent. Mark started hanging out with us. Then, a few months later, we became very close friends. Even though they (Mark and Emily) are annoying, they're my friends.
